Content Team Member
Part Time (2 days a week) | London (London Fields)
We're looking for someone with a GENUINELY GOOD EYE and previous experience in digital asset creation to join our small studio team in London Fields. *Please note that living in London is essential.
You’ll report to our Studio and Content Producer, helping to keep our content calendar full and aligned.
What you'll be doing
-
Helping produce and post digital assets (posts, reels, blogs, homepages, emails) for weekly product launches.
-
Helping produce digital assets (homepage banners, megamenu images) for monthly site mood updates.
-
Filming and editing lots of short-form video.
-
Helping track and check all product deliveries into the webshop, assessing if colours and textures match previous samples (working with natural dyes means there is a chance pieces arrive looking slightly different from how they were shot in the showroom). We're constantly reassessing and adapting engagement plans as things shift.
-
Capturing behind-the-scenes iPhone content around the studio. We take pride in showing how the brand works from the inside out, and the content team is at the forefront of telling that story.
-
Assisting on ecom, editorial and campaign shoots. Pulling clothes from stock, steaming and making sure everything is ready for an early morning start.
-
Helping keep ads parallel with current launches and items of interest (using Adobe software).
-
Maintaining a tidy and efficient content area, ensuring all materials, props, and equipment are properly stored and easily accessible.
-
Being a happy and energetic member of the content team, with the ability to constantly communicate and update our Studio and Content Producer.
What we're looking for
-
Experience with camera equipment, Adobe, and short-form video editing platforms is essential - please don't apply without it.
-
A strong visual eye - able to shoot great iPhone photos and know instinctively what a good video feels like.
-
Confidence filming and editing short-form video.
-
Organised and reliable, with quick turnaround on digital assets.
-
Able to switch between different tasks with efficiency.
-
A genuine interest in clothing, craft, design and visual culture.
-
Able to efficiently switch between the creative production and administrative/upkeep sides of the job.
There may be infrequent duties that are not listed above that you may be asked to perform or join in as a team, as an example arranging or working on the sample sale and helping VM store spaces when asked.
To Apply
Firstly, make sure you're right for this. We're flattered by the number of applications we get from people who don't live near us or skipped the bit about packing boxes, but we can't move forward with those.
If you fit the bill, email careers@storymfg.com with the subject line 'Content Team Member'. Attach a CV and, more importantly, examples of your work or links to your socials. Please don't email anyone else!
Due to the number of applicants we receive, we aren't able to get back to everyone - we do our best!
