We're hiring

Creative Content Manager

Full Time | London (London Fields)

Story mfg is looking for a highly organised, creatively minded Content & Styling Manager to join our small team in London.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making things happen. You'll be responsible for planning and producing much of the visual output of Story mfg, from styling e-commerce and editorial shoots to managing our social channels and helping tell the story behind what we make.

This is an in-studio role - if you're only able to work from home or remotely, this wouldn't suit you.

You'll work closely with our Katy and Saeed, design team, photographer and wider studio to bring collections and projects to life.

What you'll be doing

  • Styling e-commerce, editorial and campaign shoots.

  • Planning and producing photo and video shoots from start to finish.

  • Coordinating logistics including model bookings, locations, travel and shoot schedules.

  • Working alongside photographers, filmmakers and creative collaborators.

  • Capturing behind-the-scenes content in the studio and while travelling.

  • Filming and editing content for Instagram, TikTok, RedNote and other platforms.

  • Managing Story mfg's social channels, including publishing content and reporting on performance.

  • Working with our e-commerce photographer to plan weekly product photography.

  • Creating imagery and graphics for weekly product launches, newsletters and our website.

  • Helping develop creative concepts for campaigns, launches and ongoing storytelling.

What we're looking for

  • Strong styling experience. This is essential.

  • Lives in London. Also essential.

  • Experience in producing and organising photoshoots.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

  • An eye for composition, colour and visual storytelling.

  • Experience creating content for social media.

  • Confidence filming and editing short-form video.

  • A genuine interest in clothing, craft, design and visual culture.

  • The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team.

Experience using cameras is a bonus, but not essential. We're more interested in someone with a strong visual eye than someone who is technically a photographer.

Travel

Travel is an essential part of this role.

Some months there may be very little travel. At other times there may be several trips in quick succession, often to countries such as Japan, India and Thailand.

Applicants should be genuinely excited by this aspect of the role and able to travel internationally when required. If frequent or occasional international travel isn't something you're comfortable with, this is probably not the right position.

To Apply

Firstly, make sure you're correct for the role. We're flattered by the number of applications we get for roles from people who don't have experience or don't live close to us, but we won't be able to move forward with those applications.

If you fit the bill - email careers@storymfg.com with the subject line 'Creative Content Manager'. Please attatch a CV, as well as examples of your work. Please don't email anyone else!

Due to the amount of applicants we receive, we aren’t able to get back to everyone - we do our best!
